If you are interested in having a commission done, I would be happy to help!

Here are some things that may help you in the process:

• Prices for commissions generally start at around $450 for one person, approx. 12"x12". The bigger, smaller, more people, type of wood, and degree of difficulty of the portrait will determin the final price.

• The more photographs you send me to choose from, the better the portrait will be. I can help you decide which image will translate best to a portrait. The higher quality the image you send, the higher quality the final portrait will be. Try to find photographs that are clear and crisp, high-resolution if digital, and in good lighting. If you are unsure if your photograph will work, please ask!

• Once a photo is chosen, I will send you several mockup images created in Photoshop to give you an idea of what your portrait will look like on actual pieces of wood I would recommend.

• After everything is decided (image, size, wood type, etc.), I will send you a contract and ask for your deposit. Once those have been returned to me, I can begin your one-of-a-kind artwork!

• Portraits can take several weeks to months to complete, based on how many commissions I am working on already and how difficult the portrait is. Try not to wait until the last minute!

• My portraits are very resilient as long as you follow a few tips - keep out of the sun as much as possible to prevent any aging of wood, and make sure to hang in a dry environment (not your bathroom or patio)!
